About UFAL
UCANDU Foundation for Accelerated Learning (UFAL) a not-for-profit organization was established in 2000 to reach out and empower Canada’s multi-cultural communities with Educational, Civic engagement and Social Connectivity with Emotional, Digital, Syntality and technology learning tools.
The UCANDU Foundation offers coaching and support services to parents and their family in the educational and leadership areas. Today, people are assaulted with more than 3.4 Exabyte of data that is generated every day. This is like a stack of CDs - from earth to the moon and back each day. This onslaught of information is causing undo stress, frustration and discouragement for communities, families, adults and student learning. To compound this data stress New Comers to Canada have to assimilate into multi-culture neighbourhoods, learn Canadian multi-cultures, educational systems, job requirements and feel welcomed.
Numerous requests were made from the community for more support to help more families from more diverse ethno-community groups. In response to these requests the UCANDU Foundation expanded several of their programs in education, women empowerment and capacity building by electing more board directors with expertise in managing, outreaching and developing ethnocentric cultural programs for such diverse communities such as: Russian, Chinese, Iranian, Korean, Bangladeshi, Indian groups. We believe that with the support from Companies and Government’s Multicultural Community Capacity programs we will be able to reach out and engage hundreds of new people to learn and become volunteers, community and family leaders and improve the overall community to be more effective in Ontario.
